Tullis Workshop/Alpha Merics Corporation

Bonny Lhotka and Dorothy Krause made handmade paper at Richard Tullis Workshop.
During the papermaking process, they embedded materials into the large, heavily textured sheets.

The sheets of handmade paper were transported to Alpha Merics Corporation, where the artists used the upright Spectrum solid wax printer to print on media such as the 3/4" thick paper, and plates of rusty metal from a car door flattened by a fork lift.
